Overall: One of the best engineering college in kolkata great teaches and they are very helpful .college campus is very big and there there great spot to hang out nearby

Placement: Being completely honest it may seem that our college being far away from the city area does not get any exposure from the IT companies but it is not so. Our students get great packages sometimes but its solely upon oneself.

Infrastructure: Great infracatruxture of the college nothing more to say. It has a big garden in front where you can sit n do chitchats with your classmates. There is even a big playground at the back of the college .

Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful and friendly but there are teachers who are not that helpful and these kind of teachers are present in moreover in every other colleges so no issue with it.

Hostel: To be honest there is no personal hostel of our college as such but there are so many great mess n pg for girls and boys seperately.Sometimes the electricity goes out but i comes back very soon.

Overall: In this college you don't have big campus life so you have to adjust and in my college i would say that in this it department you should go because the placements scenario is too good and department teachers are too friendly.

Placement: In my college in my department placement senerio is too good because every year so called company are visited our college and specially it company's in my opinion in it department placement is too good .

Infrastructure: In my college one thing that our college campus size is too small but Nothing to worry because in my college every things are decorated beautifully and then you have to see in college premises one small ground is here .

Faculty: In my opinion in my department faculty is too good they are very supportive and they help students very much and in lab classes teacher are too friendly.

Hostel: In my college one negative point is that hostels facilities is not there but you have nothing to worry because beside college many mess , pg are here and the mess quality is too good .

Placement: However, in 2023, there has been a placement issue due to layoffs. The highest package offered is 42 LPA, while the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, with an average package of 5.1 LPA. Renowned companies such as Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Nutanix are among the top recruiting companies.

Hostel: At Netaji Subhash Engineering College, hostel life is an integral part of the overall student experience, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. The hostel facilities provide a comfortable and conducive environment for students to live, study, and interact. With well-equipped rooms, recreational areas, and common spaces, students have ample opportunities to socialize, collaborate on academic projects, and participate in extracurricular activities. The hostel staff ensures a safe and secure living environment, catering to the diverse needs of students. Living in the hostel also offers a chance for students to develop essential life skills such as time management, independence, and teamwork. The vibrant atmosphere within the hostel creates lifelong friendships and memories, enriching the college experience for students at Netaji Subhash Engineering College.

Overall: completed my B.Tech (CSE) in 2018 so few things might have changed here: Placement:- Most of the students from CS, IT, ECE managed to find an IT job via either campus recruitment (with average of 3.4 L package) or off campus. But very few of the students from core branch managed to get placed. Even of they have the CGPA of 9+ because we don't have many core companies in India (things are changing slowly). Teachers: - Well qualified and always eager to help you and make you a better person. Students:- You will meet all shot of prani here, choose your circle wirelessly and try to stay away from people who frequently involve in matter" Campus:- Average type and the college ground in Bangladesh. Hostel:- Sadly this college doesn't offer accomodation facilities. Good thing is there are lots of PG/Mess/Flats available at an affordable price. Guards:- They lack work ethics, often rude. Overall experience:- Not bad.

Placement: The highest package offered during Netaji Subhash Engineering College placements 2022 was INR 60 LPA and the average package stood at INR 6.05 LPA. Amazon, Amdocs, Adroit Valuation, and many other leading companies from diverse sectors participated in NSEC placements.

Infrastructure: The college has released the branch-wise placement percentage on the official website. During 2022 placements, more than 80% of the CSE batch was placed in leading companies across different sectors.

Faculty: Faculty of computer science and engineering department in nsec are really good. I am not taking any names. The present HOD prof. Atanu das and the past HOD prof. Anupam ghosh have taken lots of initiatives in improvement of teaching learning proces, class works, labs, projects, research and other student activities. Cse department is accredited by national board of accreditation. It also has a IEEE student chapter and some IEEE societies. It is one of the top stream in all over west bengal. In fact students coming from wbjee ranks choose cse and ece in nsec as their top priorities. The placement record is very good as students of cse and ece tops the placement chart over all the department s of nsec.

Overall: NSEC is the first established college of Techno India Group(TIG) in the year 1998. It is now listed among the top 5 private engineering colleges in the state. It's strong allumini network and Student-run clubs make this college even for worth it. There are many important clubs in the college including GDSC, PHEONIX, ECO-CULTURAL, SPORTS CLUB, etc. Our annual fest called "Mesmerizer" held every year and renouned artists are invited.

Placement: Placements are somewhat better than other colleges with an average package of 6 LPA. Main recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys. But recently a downfall in the placements are expected.

Infrastructure: The major drawback is, NSEC has a relatively small campus area as compared to other private colleges. Other than that, other facilities like Library, Labs, Reading rooms, High tech classrooms are there. Also there are common rooms for extra curricular activities like Badminton (Badminton court is there), Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis. There is a small playground and a recently opened canteen.

Faculty: Faculties at NSEC are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Most of then hold Ph.D degree or pursuing the same. Their teaching methods are very useful and innovative.

Hostel: There is no hostel in the college. Student have to rent private PGs, mess outside the college campus. Students have to pay hug rents to stay as huge proportion of students are from distant locations.
