Even though Cyclone Montha has crossed the coast in AP, the rains are expected to continue for another 1-2 days. There is a chance for heavy rain in various districts of Andhra Pradesh on October 30 as well. Due to Cyclone Montha, the Andhra Pradesh school holiday was declared on October 27, 28 and 29 . As the heavy rain conditions are expected to prevail for 1-2 days, there is a chance for holiday extension. District Collectors shall take the decision on school holiday based on the rain conditions.
