Andhra Pradesh School Holiday Update 2025 October 27, 28 and 29 due to Cyclone MonthaAndhra Pradesh School Holiday Update October 27 to 29, 2025: Cyclone Montha is expected to intensify on October 27, which may cause heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh for 3-4 days. Therefore, there is a chance for heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh on October 27, 28 and 29. IMD has already declared 'Red Alert' for those districts where Cyclone Montha might have a severe impact. The Cyclone is expected to make landfall in Kakinda on October 28, which might cause extremely heavy rains in all surrounding districts. As the weather conditions are going to be extreme, district collectors shall take a decision on school holiday on October 27, 28 and 29. However, school holidays shall be announced only after assessing the rain conditions in the respective districts. If the conditions are favourable, there will not be any school holiday announcement. AP Government has already instructed the District Collectors to declare a school holiday if required.
