Anna University admits students to its Chennai campuses for 2026 through TNEA for UG engineering, starting online registration in June 2025 with merit based on 10+2 marks. Anna University UG Admission Details 2026

TNEA is run by DoTE for seats in Anna University departments. Registration is online at tneaonline.org. Tentative dates follow the 2025 schedule, shifted to 2026.

CEETA-PG is the entrance for PG, conducted by Anna University. Application at annauniv.edu or specific portal.

Eligibility for UG requires Tamil Nadu nativity or 5 years of study in TN for non-natives, and age 21 max for general. For PG, TN nativity preferred, but other states for MCA.

• UG: Passed 10+2 from TN board or equivalent
• Marks: Physics+Math+Chemistry 45% general, 40% SC/ST
• PG: B.E. from Anna Univ or equivalent, GATE qualified, and get a stipend

Selection for UG is merit rank = (Math/2) + (Physics+Chemistry/4), normalized. PG GATE category uses percentile, CEETA-PG uses entrance marks.

The procedure begins with online registration at tneaonline.org for UG, paying the fee, uploading marks, and getting a random number. Then rank list, choice filling, and allotment in rounds.
