October 10, 2025The last date to apply for GATE 2026 for M.Tech and research program admissions has been extended to October 13, 2025, with the applicable late fee. The examination will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, and will be conducted in two sessions daily.

BKIT B.Tech Admission
Admission Under Management Quota
- Proof of writing of entrance test of COMED-K or AIEEE/JEE(Main) or any State Level Test or National Level Test.
- Pass in PUC/Intermediate/ 10+2 with minimum 45 % marks in the group of Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry /Bio-Technology/ Biology/Computer / Electronics as well as pass in English.
Admission Under Government Quota
- A Candidate must belong to Karnataka as per eligibility criteria prescribed by Government of Karnataka.
- Pass in PUC/Intermediate/ 10+2 with minimum 45 % marks in the group of Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry /Bio-Technology/ Biology/Computer / Electronics as well as pass in English.
- Based on the ranks obtained in CET-Karnataka.
BKIT M.Tech Admission
Pass in B.E/ B.Tech of VTU or any other university/institution or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in related branch/discipline. Candidate should have valid GATE score or PGCET qualified rank.
BKIT MCA Admission
- Writing of entrance test of PGCET of Karnataka or K-MAT or any National level test is compulsory.
- Graduate from any University recognized by VTU, Belgaum having studied Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications as one of the subjects either at 10+2 level or at Degree level with 50% and in case of SC/ST candidate, it shall not less than 45% marks.
