The DIT University Placement Cell is also known as the University's Career Services Department (CSD). The industry connect programmes have grown significantly as a result of guest lectures by industry luminaries, summer training and industrial visits to some of the most prominent industry hubs, and a specialised intensive career development programme. They have seen a promising increase in placements through their trusted recruitment partners over the previous few years and have added a few top recruiting firms over the last few months as part of a continuous DIT University placement drive. • B.E./B.Tech: All students of various engineering disciplines are required to undergo two months of summer training in the industry under the joint supervision of industry supervisors and DIT faculty. This provides a system of education that formally integrates academic studies with related work experience. The students also have the option to undergo six months of industrial training/ internship in the last semester of engineering.
• MCA: Similarly, the students of MCA do a System Development Project (SDP) of a minimum duration of sixteen weeks in the last semester of their course in January-June.
• M.TECH: The final year students of M.Tech. have to do Thesis work in an organisation of their choice during January-June.
• MBA: MBA students go for 2 months of training at the end of the first year i.e. May – July every year.
