The registration for JEE Main 2026 is expected to begin on October 15, 2025, at jeemain.nta.nic.in and will remain open until November 2025. The Session 1 of the JEE Main 2026 exam is scheduled for January 2026, while Session 2 will take place in April 2026
The deadline for IIT JAM 2026 registration has been extended to October 20, 2025. Students aiming for M.Sc. and Integrated M.Sc.–PhD programmes can submit their applications online via the JOAPS portal at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The entrance examination is set to be held on February 15, 2026.
The last date to apply for GATE 2026 for M.Tech and research program admissions has been extended to October 13, 2025, with the applicable late fee. The examination will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, and will be conducted in two sessions daily.
IIT Jammu admission is based on the scores of various entrance exams like the JEE Advanced, GATE, CAT, CSIR, etc. The admission process for the flagship course of the institute which is BTech, has started. Registrations for JEE Main 2024 session 2 have commenced on February 2, and the last date to register is March 2, 2024. JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be conducted from April 4 to April 15, 2024. B.Tech candidates have to first appear and qualify in JEE Main and then JEE Advanced for IIT Jammu admissions. The registrations for JEE Advanced 2024, will begin from April 21 to 30, 2024. The examination will be conducted on May 26, 2024. For M.Tech admissions at IIT Jammu, GATE 2024 will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

The IIT Jammu admission process differs depending on the program. Candidates must apply online for the entrance test and pay the required fees administered by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) through centralized counseling at the all-India level handled by JoSAA in order to be considered for admission to IIT programmes that are dependent on an entrance test.
