Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus (SBSSTC), now known as SBSU, is a government-established technical institution in Ferozepur, Punjab. Founded in 1995, the college is affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University and accredited by NAAC with a “B” grade. Spread across a spacious 98-acre campus, it offers diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in engineering, architecture, management, and computer applications. Academics are average, with students rating them around 2.8 out of 5. While faculty members are supportive, teaching methods are considered outdated by some. Placement opportunities are limited, with an average package ranging between ₹3–6 LPA and top recruiters including Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. Internships typically require student initiative, and campus recruitment could be strengthened.
