GATE 2026 category change instructions include payment of fees before the due date, with a specified process. To get the category changed, the candidates will have to follow a specific process, which includes logging in to the GOAPS portal, clicking on ‘Category change’, and then selecting the category that they want to change.

The rectification window will remain open until November 3, 2025, and during this time, applicants can log in to the official GATE portal, i.e., gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their enrollment ID and password to make the necessary edits.

Students interested in pursuing various undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the entrance exam can apply online by visiting the official KIIT website. If the candidates need to edit any details in the GATE application form, then they should visit the official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in and complete the application form correction on or before November 3, 2025. To make modifications, the candidates should enter their login credentials such as the enrollment ID and password. For making corrections in the GATE application form 2026, the candidates should pay a certain fees.
