When comparing Online MBA courses offered by NMIMS Centre for Distance & Online Education, Amity University, Manipal University, and XLRI, the first major factor the comes to mind is the course fees. XLRI has the costliest Online MBA course and it offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Online) in addition to other specializations with a course fees of INR 13.9 lakhs. All the other institutes have their Online MBA course fees of around INR 2 lakhs with NMIMS, Amity, and Manipal University having course fees of INR 2.10 Lakhs, INR 2 lakhs, and INR 1.75 lakhs, respectively. As for specializations, NMIMS, Amity, and Manipal University offer multiple specializations including Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operation & Data Science. Analyzing recent trends (2023 and 2024), XLRI usually calls candidates above a certain percentile cutoff as per XAT, though the percentage does vary each year.

In 2023, XLRI had put up fairly stringent standards for interview shortlisting in terms of XAT percentiles and sectional cutoffs. Typically, candidates with an overall percentile of 95 or above have a decent chance, but the sectional cutoffs are as important.
