UCEED Entrance Examination: The UCEED Examination, or the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is conducted by IIT Bombay on an annual basis to offer students admission to undergraduate courses in design across the top UCEED colleges in the country.

NID DAT Entrance Examination (Prelims): The NID DAT Entrance Examination, or the National Institute of Design, Design Aptitude Test (Prelims) is conducted by one of the top design colleges, the National Institute of Design. This exam is conducted to provide students with admissions to both BDes as well as MDes programs across the various NID campuses and designing institutes that accept NID DAT scores.

• Students must be entirely committed to making a career in the design field. They must envision themselves as a part of the fashion industry in the near future.
• Students must be inclined towards creativity and should have a vivid idea of a sense of aesthetics. Having a keen eye for detail and good observation skills is a plus point that is evaluated at the interview stage. Students are chosen on the basis of how creative they can get and how unusual their ideas can be, so let your creativity and imagination do the magic.
• Students should have an aptitude for design and should be fluent in problem-solving skills. Having quick decision-making skills is considered to be a bonus point. Students who are willing to learn and grow through the aim of attaining excellence in the field are given priority over other potential candidates.
