OJEE 2025 Exam - Counselling (Over), Result (Out), Cutoff, Admission Process

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee conducts the OJEE 2025 exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Odisha. The state-level entrance exam is held annually in an online (CBT) mode. The OJEE exam is generally held in May. Following the completion of the OJEE 2025 exam, the OJEEC conducts a special OJEE or 2nd OJEE exam for admission to vacant seats. The exam authority conducted the Special OJEE 2025 exam on July 15 & 16, 2025, and the 2nd OJEE result 2025 was released on July 23, 2025. Alongside, the OJEEC is also conducting the counselling process for admission to UG and PG courses. The OJEE 2025 counselling registration started in June 2025. However, the authorities have extended the counselling dates for all the course streams. The OJEE M.Tech Round 3 seat allotment has been released on the ojee.nic.in website on August 2, 2025. Furthermore, for B.Tech counselling, the OJEEC has released the round 3 seat allotment result on August 4, 2025. The last date to raise queries was August 8, 2025. The OJEEC also conducted the spot round counselling for admission to the remaining vacant seats on August 8, 2025.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee under the provisions of the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act, 2007, organizes OJEE every year for the students who are willing to take admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered under Science and Technology streams. These mostly include B.Pharm/ B.Tech (Lateral Entry)/ B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)/ PGAT for M Arch/ M.Tech/ M.Plan/ MCA/ M.Pharm/ MBA/ MCA (Lateral Entry)/ Integrated MBA (5 years) courses in various Government and Private engineering and management institutions of Orissa.

OJEE 2025 Exam Day Schedule

Special OJEE 2025 Exam Dates 

The Special OJEE 2025 exam will be organized for students who will be unable to participate or miss the Odisha JEE in their initial attempt. The ranks from 2nd OJEE will be used to fill the vacant seats. The registration date for the Special OJEE exam 2025 has been declared officially. You can check the schedule below. 

The OJEE 2025 result was announced on June 10, 2025, in the form of a rank card. To obtain the scorecard, you must log in using your roll number. The authorities will also release a merit list along with the results. For various courses, the authorities will provide various merit lists. Students who will pass the OJEE exam 2025 will be eligible for the counselling process. Students must print out their scorecards for future reference.

If you qualify for the OJEE 2025 exam, you will be eligible to participate in the OJEE 2025 counselling process. The OJEE 2025 Counselling is conducted separately for each course. You must first register for the counselling and then lock your choices. The counselling cell publishes a list of seats available for institutions based on the merit list and the choices made by you at the time of option entry. OJEE 2025 Counselling registration and choice filling began on June 20, 2025. Those who are shortlisted on the merit list will be invited to participate in the counselling process, which will be conducted online. During the counselling, you will need to select your preferred colleges and courses for seat allocation. You must present the required documents at the allotted institute when you report for admission. Documents to bring for counselling include class 10th & 12th marksheets and passing certificates, registration slip, OJEE exam 2025 Rank card, Passport-sized photograph, Caste, Income and Character certificate. Additionally, you must submit a part-fee payment of INR 500 for the SC/ST/PC categories and INR 1000 for the General category. Along with a letter confirming your seat assignment, you must report to the institution and pay the outstanding balance within the given due dates. Following the regular rounds of the counselling process, the OJEEC commenced the spot round counselling for admission to B.Tech courses on August 8, 2025.

OJEE cutoff 2025 will be declared after the seat allotments are released. The participating colleges of OJEE 2025 will decide their cutoff scores which will be published by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination authority. The OJEE 2025 cutoff refers to the minimum marks required from students for admission in the participating institutes of OJEE 2025. It is necessary for you to successfully get placed on the cutoff list to be eligible for further rounds of the selection process.

OJEE 2025 Admission Process

The OJEE selection process includes the OJEE exam 2025, followed by a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. After the results are announced, the OJEE Cell will release the cutoff and rank list. The OJEE exam 2025 cutoff will show the opening and closing ranks, and all the colleges will follow this cutoff. During the counselling, you will be given seats based on your rank and the choices you selected in your application. The OJEE 2025 answer key will be released soon. Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee will release the provisional OJEE 2025 answer key, which will feature all the correct answers to the questions asked in the OJEE 2025 exam. However, if you find any discrepancies in the answer key of OJEE 2025, you will be able to challenge and raise objections to the provisional OJEE 2025 answer key till a specified date. Once, the exam authorities have resolve all such objections, it will release the final OJEE 2025 answer key to ojee.nic.in. No requests for modifications to the final answer key will be entertained by the authorities. 

The registration process for OJEE 2025 was completed on March 25, 2025. OJEE 2025 registrationstarted on the official OJEE 2025 website, ojee.nic.in, from January 30, 2025. The exam organizing committee released the official OJEE 2025 application form on the website. The exam committee extended the last date for OJEE 2025 registration to March 25, 2025, from March 20, 2025. OJEE 2025 registration was available only in online mode. The registration process consisted of multiple steps, including registration, completing the application form, paying the required fee, and submitting the completed form. Special OJEE 2025 Application Process

The registration for the special OJEE 2025 exam started on June 13, 2025. The last date to apply for the 2nd OJEE 2025 exam is June 23, 2025. You can access the link for registration from the official exam website. To apply for Special OJEE 2025, you must first register on the official OJEE website by providing the necessary details. Upon successful registration, an application ID will be generated, which students will use to log in and complete the application form. Once the form is filled out, you will be directed to the payment gateway. The application fee for Special OJEE is INR 1,000, payable via debit/credit card or net banking.
