To appear for the UP CPET 2025 Exam, all students are required to satisfy a list of important eligibility criteria. The following have been listed below for your reference:

• All students must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
• Students must have completed their Class 12th in the Science stream, with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. For the reserved category students, a minimum of 40% marks is required.
• All students must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects in the qualifying examination.
• Students must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of the application process for the UP CPET 2025 Exam.   
• While there is no maximum age limit for students to apply for UP CPET 2025, there is a maximum age limit of 30 years for B.Sc paramedical course admission in SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
• Students who have completed their schooling at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and other open schools recognized by the central or state government can also apply for the entrance exam. 
• All participating students must be medically fit and must produce proper documentation signed by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO to prove their eligibility.

Subject-wise UP CPET 2025 Eligibility Requirements

• Students who have passed Class 12th in the Science stream, with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and English individually, will be eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology courses.

Step 1: Registration

• Firstly, students must visit the official website of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University and search for the “Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET) 2025” direct link. 
• Next, click on it and select the ‘New Candidate’ button.
• Then, fill in all the required basic information such as personal details, contact information, username and password, and other details.
• Now, students will have to click on the ‘Save and Continue’ button.
• An auto-generated email consisting of the registration number and password to log in will be sent to the student’s registered email address. 

Step 2: Application Fee Payment

• Now, students will have to submit the requisite application fee, which is INR 3,000 for the general and OBS categories, and INR 2,000 for the SC/ST/PwD categories. 
• The application fee payment can be done by using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
• After completion of the online payment, students will receive a message reading ‘Transaction Successful’ 
• Students must not forget to take out several printouts of the payment receipt for future reference. 

Step 3: Uploading Images & Documents 

• Next, all students must click on the “CPET 2025 Application Form” link and proceed to fill out all the required fields of information, such as academic qualifications, exam centre and city preferences, father’s and mother’s names, etc.
• Then, students are required to upload supporting documents and images for document verification, which marks a crucial step in the application process.
• Students will have to upload a recent passport-size photograph and all documentation proof of their eligibility, such as Aadhar Card, Class 10th and 12th marksheets, date of birth certificate, etc.
• The photograph and the student’s signature should be in JPEG format, and all the other documents should be in PDF format only.

The UP CPET 2025 Admit Card is usually officially released a few days before the exam date. The UP CPET 2025 Admit Card was released on June 12, 2025, and the entrance exam was conducted on June 18, 2025. It provides an idea of the estimated marks secured by the students by referring to the correct options mentioned on the answer key and cross-checking the same with their responses in the exam. The UP CPET 2025 answer key is usually released in two formats: Provisional and Final. Students are allowed to raise objections against any discrepancy in the Provisional UP CPET 2025 Answer Key within the specified time. However, this year, no notification has been released regarding the objection window. Therefore, the provisional answer key will act as the final one in UP CPET 2025.

The UP CPET 2025 Result has been announced on July 1, 2025, on the official website. The UP CPET 2025 Result is released in online mode, in a PDF format. Students can download the UP CPET 2025 Result PDF from the official website by entering their login credentials.
