Goa CET (GCET) 2025 Exam - Exam Date, Registration, Pattern, Syllabus, Sample Papers, Cutoff, Previous Year Papers

GCET exam has been scrapped by the authorities and now admission to Engineering courses in Goa will be based on JEE Main.

GCET is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. The responsibility of DTE is to facilitate new technical education institutions as well as courses in Goa. The Directorate also facilitates the centralized admission of the candidates to Technical and Professional institutes in the state.

DTE, Goa has released the exam dates of GCET 2023. Candidates must keep a track of the dates to avoid missing any major event. The Goa CET 2023 schedule can be found from the table below -

The GCET 2023 application process is now closed. Applications were invited till May 5, 2023, with a late fee of INR 3500 in offline mode at the DTE Goa Office. The last date to apply for GCET 2023 exam in online mode was April 20, 2023. Only applicants who submitted the completed the Goa CET 2023 Application Process are eligible to download the admit card and appear for the entrance test.

GCET 2023 exam patterncomprises details on how the entrance examination will be administered including the method, length, kind of questions, sections, and marking scheme. The GCET 2023 will be administered in offline mode.

Candidates must be thorough with the GCET 2023 syllabus and go through each topic well to clear the exam. The subjects included in the GCET syllabus are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The topics covered in these subjects are of class 12th level. The candidate should study well and do a revision of the whole GCET syllabus 2023 to score good marks in the exam.

The DTE had set the question paper of Goa Cet and will release the official answer key shortly since the exam has been concluded on July 11. The Goa Cet 2023 answer key will be available for all the sets of question paper. The Goa CET 2023 answer key will contain all the correct answers of questions asked in the Goa Cet paper. Candidates can cross check their performance with the help of answer key and will be able to get a probable score. 

GCET 2023 result has been declared on May 17, 2023 in online mode. Candidates should visit the GCET official website to check your Goa CET result 2023. The merit list was prepared on the basis of the candidate's performance in the exam. Candidates who will secure qualifying marks in the GCET 2023 result, will be eligible for the counselling process.

After the results are published on the official website, the GCET 2023 counselling will be made available by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. Prior to filling up their choices, applicants must complete the GCET counselling registration for 2023. According to the GCET merit list, candidates who will pass the exam will receive calls for GCET counselling 2023. To participate in GCET counselling 2023, candidates must complete Form A, which will be made available by DTE Goa and may be found on the GCET 2023 website. 

The GCET 2023 counselling process entails the completion of a form, submission, uploading of supporting documentation, and reporting to the designated centres. Candidates will be given admission at GCET 2023 counselling based on their merit, preferences, and the availability of seats. The candidates will need to validate their documentation and pay the money in order to confirm their admission through GCET.
